In our universe breasts are flying around. And dogs. And the question as to why buffed up dog-owners are allowed to nuzzle their once-upon-a-time watch dog but the „natural and original“ roles of mothers and fathers as care givers or non care givers is forever unchangeable. Perhaps it has something to do with pop songs? You make me feel like a natural….? Or rather it’s to do with canon of opera, that presents women, shade and fertility in some cryptic interplay with eachother. This relaxed and tender musical theater evening combines electro pop hymns with current chamber music and big operatic moments. It raises the question of what roll (none-) mothers play in society and what does it all really have to do with hunters and gatheres anyway. One thing is for sure: whether with breasts or without, a dog or no dog – cuddling helps, your oxytocin and society.
